John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montanan accent and revert to the SoCal dialect he usually uses.. Yellowstone is a solidly written drama – great characters, well-developed – that borrows its tone from several different modern masterpieces. It has the feel and cinematography of Longmire, the plot and grim perspective of The Sopranos, and the dramatic momentum of a show like Dynasty or any other network series like it. Much respect to Costner and Cole Hauser – these guys give it their all 100%. I didn’t expect this show to grab me as much as it did. It’s worth your time.
