A farming family in Montana faces off against others who are encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, has had his hand in the world of rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montanan accent and reverts back to the SoCal speaking voice he usually uses… Featured in WatchMojo: 10 Best Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on Your Radar (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big-city mob life. This show is well-acted, the first two episodes are well-written, and after each episode you’ll be left wanting more. Not to mention the scenery in Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of Ewing from the 1970s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone is "Dallas" meets "The Sopranos".
