Sure, it was scary, but then again, the author is very poetic in bringing out old curses and so on…or tragic love, human nature… I was swept away by almost everything, not in the first episode, I was intrigued then and I hope you let the alchemy/magic go as I did. Let yourself be enveloped in its beautiful story.
Like someone from "Game of Thrones" fever
It all goes back to history and memory and how unreliable and confused they are and what we make of them. It made me want to read the novel again, right now! The difference is that I can’t read the original, only the translation.
