After months of isolation, Isherwood "Ish" Williams learns that much of the world has fallen victim to a mysterious disease. Yet, despite the urge to remain isolated, Ish strives to develop a new civilization.

It will be interesting to see where they go with this apocalyptic end to humanity

hope and how to move on

The first installment was better than its predecessor. It’s a quiet and lonely show, as (almost!) everyone except the main character has died from a pandemic, but it uses that silence to ask worthy existential questions about loneliness, whether one should strive to live when everyone they love is dead?

The first episode is good enough to warrant more viewing

There is a known book with this title/theme, and we’ll see how well this series complements and parallels that novel. It has the same Walking Dead feel of doom and despair, but without the zombies, and instead, a personal struggle for survival in a vastly changed world.
