After winning the lottery, the lucky winners’ lives will turn into a nightmare. Literature Gone with the Wind (1939). Comedy? Hmmm… Not so much in the style of Cohen or Tarantino. I don’t usually like comedies, especially French comedies, but this one is really worth watching. It’s funny, inventive, brilliant, bloody too – yes, bloody – always surprising. Several different stories, several segments showing people who win the Lotto – a lottery – but who actually get a lot of trouble in return. The first segment is shown before the opening credits. This scheme should have been talked about much earlier. In any case, I’ve never heard of anything like this. This story doesn’t make you envy winning Lotto tickets. But don’t worry, you have a one in a million chance of winning. So I think it’s better to be a loser.
