Chronology
A man takes his wife and their children on a trip down memory lane as they deal with a divorce. Florent Bernard’s own parents divorced when he was a teenager (just like the kids in the film), and it worked out not to bother him and his brother too much, as many of their friends already had divorced parents. So Bernard and his brother told their parents it was their problem, and their father took offense because he thought they didn’t care. At the beginning of the film, during the breakfast scene, Sandrine’s children look down. In one shot at the cereal bowl in front, in the next shot suddenly at the mother at the side.
