A family of ranchers in Montana are confronted by others who are encroaching on their land. Forry J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, has experience in the world of Rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to the SoCal speaking voice he usually uses. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows Off Your Radar (2018). I don’t think anyone does westerns better than Kevin Costner, and with Taylor Sheridan writing, this is a win-win for audiences. Check out “Wind River” for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where is Cole Hauser hiding? He’s amazing. I think the daughter is a necessary part, but she’s over the top. The scenery is fantastic, and being from Colorado, I can really appreciate the vast, beautiful land. Do yourself a favor and get excited about this series because it’s going to be a winner.
